All Flex plugins have been combined into a single plugin ‘xcelerate’, instead of having 17 separate ones.

  • Problem Statement:
    • Previously, multiple separate plugins existed, leading to shared code among them. While each plugin was treated independently, the cumulative size of all plugins resulted in a significant increase in overall size.
  • Benefits:
    • Reduced Size: The new “xcelerate” flex plugin bundle has a size of approximately 8.5MB, significantly lower than previous versions, such as 3.2 (28MB) and 3.1 (approximately 60MB). This size reduction contributes to faster loading speeds and potential future size reductions.
    • Reduced Conflicts: By consolidating the plugins, the chances of conflicts, particularly with styling, are minimized. This leads to improved compatibility and a smoother user experience.
    • Enhanced Development Experience: Working with a single plugin simplifies development efforts. It provides developers with a more streamlined and cohesive framework, making managing and maintaining the plugin easier.

Task Panel – Display name attribute instead of the from value

The Task Panel has been updated to display the name attribute within a task instead of the from value. This change allows for customizing caller ID without impacting the from value in insights reporting.

Notification Panel – Accessible from any page within Xcelerate.

The Notification Panel in Xcelerate, which was previously limited to the Agent Desktop, has been enhanced to be accessible from any page within the application.

  • Timed After Call Work (ACW) feature is now available when there is no CRM integrated.
    The timed ACW feature allows an agent’s status to go unavailable during wrap-up and auto-complete tasks. This feature is now available for Xcelerate users who do not have a CRM integrated in Xcelerate and use the Default Complete button to wrap up tasks.
  • Administrators can now configure a minimum and maximum time limit for Timed ACW.

What’s New

  • Get a better Xcelerate experience with the new Browser Ring feature
    Browser ring is now available for agents. This feature aims to give agents an alternative form of notification whenever there is an incoming Flex call. Administrators can enable or disable this feature from the Admin Configuration Panel, as well as set a customizable browser ringtone.
  • Listen to live calls and coach agents in real-time with Supervisor Monitor, Barge-In, and Coach
    Supervisors now have the option to monitor, barge in, and coach an agent’s live call with Supervisor Monitor, Supervisor Barge-In, and Supervisor Coach. When a supervisor chooses to enable any of these features, their activity status on Xcelerate will automatically change to Unavailable.
    • Supervisor Monitor: This feature enables supervisors to listen to live calls and view live messages. Supervisors will also have the option to listen to calls and view chat interactions via normal mode or private mode.
    • Supervisor Barge-In: This feature enables supervisors to barge into an agent’s live call. While barged in, a supervisor will be able to talk to both the agent and the customer.
    • Supervisor Coach: This feature enables supervisors to coach an agent during a live call. When a supervisor enables supervisor coach, the supervisor will be able to talk to the agent without the knowledge of the customer.
  • Personalize your Xcelerate desktop with custom logos
    Make Xcelerate your own by using the new custom logo feature. This feature lets users customize the Xcelerate header logo with a logo of their choice. Simply get the link for your custom logo image and add it to Xcelerate. Administrators can directly configure the custom logo from the Admin Configuration Panel.
