Mega Plugin
All Flex plugins have been combined into a single plugin ‘xcelerate’, instead of having 17 separate ones.
- Problem Statement:
- Previously, multiple separate plugins existed, leading to shared code among them. While each plugin was treated independently, the cumulative size of all plugins resulted in a significant increase in overall size.
- Benefits:
- Reduced Size: The new “xcelerate” flex plugin bundle has a size of approximately 8.5MB, significantly lower than previous versions, such as 3.2 (28MB) and 3.1 (approximately 60MB). This size reduction contributes to faster loading speeds and potential future size reductions.
- Reduced Conflicts: By consolidating the plugins, the chances of conflicts, particularly with styling, are minimized. This leads to improved compatibility and a smoother user experience.
- Enhanced Development Experience: Working with a single plugin simplifies development efforts. It provides developers with a more streamlined and cohesive framework, making managing and maintaining the plugin easier.
Task Panel – Display name attribute instead of the from value
The Task Panel has been updated to display the name attribute within a task instead of the from value. This change allows for customizing caller ID without impacting the from value in insights reporting.
Notification Panel – Accessible from any page within Xcelerate.
The Notification Panel in Xcelerate, which was previously limited to the Agent Desktop, has been enhanced to be accessible from any page within the application.

Layout Manager:
- Resolved an issue where the edit mode of a layout wouldn’t retain the layout’s setup, requiring users to rearrange all the components each time they entered edit mode.
Timed ACW:
- Resolved an issue where an agent’s status would always revert to ‘Available’ after completing a task, instead of returning to the previous status, in a CRM OR non-CRM and Timed After Call Work (ACW) enabled setup.
- Resolved an issue where an agent’s status would revert to the previous status immediately after clicking the Complete button but before selecting a disposition in a non-CRM. Disposition Modal and Timed After Call Work (ACW) enabled setup.
- Resolved an issue where the Disposition Modal wouldn’t auto close if the user leaves the screen with the Disposition Modal open in a non-CRM and Timed After Call Work (ACW) with Task Auto Complete enabled setup.
Transfer:
- Resolved an issue where the old task attributes were not passed to the new task during the transfer process.
Theming:
- Resolved an issue where the phone number entered in the Outbound Dialpad or SMS panel is not readable in dark mode if the user already has an assigned task.
Admin Configuration Panel:
- Resolved an issue where the Confirm and Cancel buttons in the edit overlay of the Admin Configuration Panel overlap with other components when the content within the overlay is long.
- Resolved an issue where the selected setting in the Admin Configuration table would have the theme color instead of a highlight, making the text hard to read.
Supervisor Panel:
- Resolved an issue that prevented the search functionality on the Agent SSO Management page with Azure SSO integration from locating agents whose email addresses or user principal names contain a single quote character (‘).
- Resolved as issue where the edit overlay for the News Ticker item opens after successfully creation in News Ticker Management page of the Supervisor Panel.
- Resolved as issue where the edit overlay for the Canned Response opens after successfully creation in Canned Response Management page of the Supervisor Panel.
Agent Desktop:
- Task panel:
- Resolved an issue where the SLA circle is intermittently misaligned for transferred SMS tasks.
- CRM Panel:
- Resolved an issue where the retry snackbar for the Customer Info tab wouldn’t close manually when the close button is clicked, requiring users to wait for the snackbar to auto-close.
- Task Stepper:
- Resolved an issue where the number and bullet listing options in Task Stepper Notes section wouldn’t function.
- Resolved an issue where the Task Stepper UI moves when the Outbound SMS Panel is opened.
- Resolved an issue where the buttons in Task Stepper were broken in Layout Manager-enabled setup.
- Agent Scratchpad:
- Resolved an issue where the number and bullet listing options in Agent scratchpad wouldn’t function.
- Notification:
- Resolved an issue where the Notification overlay would occupy the entire width of the right panel in a Layout Manager disabled setup.
- Navigation Sidebar:
- Resolved an issue where the hamburger icon does not return to its default icon after navigating to a different page, requiring users to click the hamburger icon twice to expand the side navigation.
- Keyboard Shortcuts menu:
- Resolved an issue where the Keyboard Shortcuts menu when accessed from the Admin Configuration Panel or the Supervisor Panel would overlap with the panel, making it impossible to close the Keyboard Shortcuts menu until navigated to a different page.
Queue Stats:
- Resolved an issue with an unnecessary second scroll bar in the Queue Stats page.
Xcelerate Documentation:
- Updated Xcelerate Documentation with revised content, incorporating necessary changes and improvements to provide accurate and up-to-date information.
- Enhanced Xcelerate Documentation by adding missing images and GIFs to various features, improving the visual representation, and making it easier for users to understand and follow the instructions provided.
