The Financial Analyst will play a critical role in driving financial decision-making within the organization. This role demands a highly skilled analyst with a proven track record in analyzing complex financial data and developing actionable, profit-focused strategies. The individual will be responsible for advanced data visualization, financial modeling, and trend forecasting. This position also entails developing robust forecast models, analyzing performance metrics, and implementing process improvements to enhance overall profitability and efficiency. Experience with the Finance and Operations (F&O) module in Dynamics 365 and related tools is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to develop and refine financial planning processes, including detailed forecasting, budgeting, profitability analysis, and comprehensive financial reporting.
- Analyze historical and current financial trends, identify revenue variances, and ensure accuracy in data reconciliation during month-end close processes.
- Analyzing variances between actual financial performance and budgets/forecasts to explain discrepancies.
- Lead initiatives to automate financial processes, enhancing efficiency and reducing manual efforts to optimize productivity.
- Assist in creating, managing, and monitoring budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and financial strategies.
- Support strategic initiatives by developing sophisticated financial models, conducting business case analyses, and providing actionable insights to inform decision-making.
- Creating financial models to evaluate new business opportunities, investments, or strategic initiatives.
- Monitoring and analyzing costs to ensure efficient allocation of resources.
- Providing recommendations for cost reductions or operational improvements.
- Identify and assess potential financial risks, proposing mitigation strategies to safeguard the organization’s financial health.
- Regularly evaluate financial performance, generate detailed variance analysis, and recommend improvements to enhance profitability and cost management.
- Assisting in decisions related to mergers, acquisitions, or capital expenditures.
- Translating complex financial data into understandable insights for decision-makers.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a financial analyst or in a similar role, ideally within a multi-entity organization.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, especially the F&O module in Dynamics 365, and experience with financial analysis tools and software.
- Strong foundation in statistical analysis, financial forecasting, and data interpretation, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present financial data clearly and persuasively to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field is required; an advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are highly desirable.
