WTI Holdings LLC (DBA Waterfield Innovations DBA Waterfield Technologies) is looking for a Senior Telephony Engineer to join our team in Tulsa, OK.
Job Duties:
Analyze business communications issues and telephony environment to develop, implement, and improve overall communications systems and underlying computer systems, working primarily with Alcatel Lucent and Avaya. Test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot communications systems and related computer system infrastructure, including assisting with deployment and installation of new communications programs and systems. Perform discovery of customer telephony environments for configuration and requirements gathering. Conduct technical sessions to professionally confer with customers regarding network/system requirements and implement features and functionality appropriate for the customers’ needs. Validate and troubleshoot end to end connectivity utilizing system-based tools. Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization. Provide coaching and mentoring support for less experienced voice engineers. Continue professional development to keep abreast of emerging technologies, methods, and best practices, including maintaining current vendor certifications. Adhere to company processes and procedures regarding timeliness, customer service, and analysis methods. Up to 15% domestic travel required for customer training or installations. May telecommute from anywhere in the U.S.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field, and 8 years of experience in implementing communications systems or related computer system infrastructure.
Skills: Position requires experience in the following:
1) Installing and maintaining telecommunications systems on Alcatel Lucent, Avaya, or similar telecoms solutions;
2) SIP, H.323, and ISDN protocol suite;
3) Linux KVM, Hyper-V;
4) AVST Voicemail
5) Installing Omni vista 8770 NMS application
6) Designing and operating DECT & MIPT environment at remote sites
7) Designing and configuring Inter-networking between different nodes of an organization via TDP & IP links
8) Knowledge of cabling and wiring systems
9) Managing multi-site telecommunications environment;
10) Installing and configuring Session Border Controllers; and
11) Technical Certifications: ACFE OmniPCX Enterprise and ACFE OpenTouch.
Salary: $112,195 per year
